Davis W. Smith
Davis W. Smith is a Texas native who attended Baylor University and graduated with a Degree in Business. At Baylor, he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honor Fraternity, Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Fraternity, winner of the Wall Street Journal Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement and numerous other organizations associated with academic excellence. He attended Texas Tech School of Law and was licensed to practice in 1994.
Davis W. Smith also served in the United States Marines prior to attending Baylor and was the subject of two Meritorious Promotions, a Meritorious Mast and was nominated for Marine of the Year. Out of a four year enlistment, he spent two years at sea on the U.S.S. Lamoure County, U.S.S. Newport Beach and various other naval vessels taking part in combined amphibious naval operations around the world.
Davis is married with three sons and a daughter. His current hobby is the study of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has traveled to Brazil to compete and train with the Gracie family in Rio de Janeiro on several occasions. He has achieved podium finishes several times in the prestigious U.S. Open in Santa Cruz, California.
